Marie Curie Cancer care was chosen as Bupa’s nominated charity for the Bupa Great Run series from 2006-08 and has raised up to £4 million.

Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally free, to give people with terminal cancer and other illnesses the choice of dying at home, surrounded by their families. Since they were established in 1948 Marie Curie Nurses have cared for 375,000 patients and their families - the equivalent to filling four Wembley Stadiums.
