Marie Curie Cancer Care
Bupa has supported Marie Curie Cancer Care for the last three years through the sponsorship of the Bupa Great Run series. Each year over 7,000 runners have raised over £1 million for the charity and over 800 Bupa people participated in the runs in 2007, helping to raise even more money.
Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally free, to give people with terminal cancer and other illnesses the choice of dying at home, surrounded by their families. Since they were established in 1948 Marie Curie Nurses have cared for 375,000 patients and their families - the equivalent to filling four Wembley Stadiums.
