Young Enterprise
Young Enterprise is one of the UK's leading business and enterprise education charities. It offers a range of programmes, based on the principle of 'learning by doing', bringing volunteers from organisations into the classroom to work with teachers and students.
Bupa employees support Young Enterprise initiatives across the UK with regular enterprise days taking place in London and Staines.
Some of our volunteering programmes enable students to work in teams to run their own company. Other programmes will use games, hands on activities and role playing to develop skills and capabilities for business and enterprise.
In 2006, the UK Health Insurance finance team in Salford, Manchester, took the relationship with Young Enterprise to a new level with staff committing one hour a week to volunteer at Stretford Grammar School. The scheme is still going strong today.
