BUPA team challenges
From rebuilding orphanages to landscaping hospital gardens, BUPA employees will turn their hands to practically anything!
Since the creation of Community Connections in 2001, more than 2,000 BUPA people have taken part in team challenges, helping to have a lasting impact on over 200 communities across the UK, including thousands of school children.
In 2006 more than 600 BUPA employees successfully restored 60 schools, improving the environment for over 10,800 children and saving the schools over £10,200. As well as this, 156 volunteers improved park areas and revamped local community centres, showing that BUPA people are really at the heart of the community.
Staff and managers find team challenges extremely rewarding and they are often used to develop project management and presentation skills. Challenges are a great way to unite BUPA people and live up to the BUPA ethos by giving something back.
Community Connections works with Business in the Community's Cares organisation to source team challenges in local communities. Community Connections funds all the necessary materials for the event to take place.
