BUPA initiatives
As well as supporting you in whatever challenge you decide
to take up, BUPA is already a member company of several employers’
organisations and initiatives.

Education
Education is at the heart of BUPA's commitment to our local communities. As a result, the majority of our employee volunteering schemes are focussed on education.
Team challenges
Community Connections is committed to promoting and supporting team-based, hands-on projects. The BUPA challenges are a great way for BUPA people to meet new people throughout the businesses, whilst giving something back to their local community.
Supporting the elderly
Helping the elderly is central to BUPA's commitment to taking care of the lives in our hands.
Homelessness
As part of our commitment to helping the homeless get back into independent living, BUPA participates in Business in the Community's 'Business Action on Homelessness'. A recent MORI poll indicated that the UK population considers homelessness to be the second most important issue (after children) for businesses to address. Therefore, if we do not become part of the solution, we become part of the problem.
Payroll Giving
Give As You Earn is the largest and most successful payroll giving scheme in the UK. It is the simplest way to give to charity direct from your pay, tax-free. In addition to this, from now until April 2003 the government will add an extra 10% to every gift you make.
