Sanitas names new managing director

Sanitas, Bupa's Spanish subsidiary has announced that Pablo Juantegui Azpilicueta will be joining their team as the new managing director in September.
At the same time, after 13 years at the head of the company, John de Zulueta will become chairman of Sanitas and its subsidiaries. The current chairman, Junan Jose Lopez-Ibor will stand down, however will remain the chairman of the Sanitas Foundation.
Pablo Juantegui Azpilicueta, 42, joins Sanitas from Grupo Telefonica, a major Spanish telecommunications company. An economist by profession with a MBA from the Instituto de Empresa, he has also help positions at Coors Brewing Company, Mars Inc and IBM.
