Farnham care home has new owner 2 September 2005 Bupa Care Services is pleased to announce that it has acquired Crispins and Loadhams Nursing Home in the centre of Farnham, Surrey. The home has a total of 37 registered nursing beds. It has been in operation since 1981 after being converted from residential properties originally built in the 1920s. Oliver Thomas, Director of Bupa Care Services, said: “We are very much looking forward to working with the staff, residents and relatives at the Farnham home. Bupa is committed to providing high quality care in all our care homes and we will continue to build on the excellent reputation for care that the home has already developed.” Bupa is the largest private care home operator in the UK and this acquisition brings its portfolio of care homes in the UK to 298.
