Bupa Wellness appoints new head of marketing

Bupa Wellness has announced the appointment of Amanda Burns as head of marketing.
Amanda joins Bupa after eight years with the airline bmi, where she was head of marketing and on the marketing sounding board for Star Alliance.
Amanda, who will be based at the Bupa Wellness offices near King’s Cross in London, will be responsible for leading the marketing strategy for Bupa Wellness, covering both corporate and personal business.
Bupa Wellness is the UK’s leading provider of corporate and preventative health services, and employee assistance programmes. It offers a nationwide service to businesses and individuals through its network of over 50 sites throughout the country. In 2005, Bupa Wellness was awarded Best Occupational Health Provider by Health Insurance magazine.
Key challenges for Amanda and her team will include continuing to build on Bupa Wellness’ impressive growth strategy, identifying new product development opportunities, increasing the client base and improving member loyalty and retention for the Bupa Wellness brand.
