Enjoy half-term holiday clubs with Bupa childcare

28 September 2005

With half-term already fast approaching Bupa Childcare is pleased to offer local parents the perfect solution to keep children happy and entertained this October.

Bupa Childcare holiday clubs, running at Serendipity Sam’s in Christchurch and Romsey, will provide children with a safe and stimulating environment, where they will be encouraged to enjoy free-play as well as planned activities including art and craft, games and music.

Running from 8am to 6pm every day throughout half-term* (24 to 28 October), Bupa’s holiday clubs are open to all children aged between four years, nine months and 12 years old. The clubs are OFSTED registered and all Bupa’s playworkers will receive training specifically for the role.

Toni Rose, Senior Development Manager of Bupa Childcare commented: “BUPA’s holiday clubs are hugely popular with children and adults alike. Children enjoy making new friends and learning new and exciting skills, while parents can relax in the knowledge that their children are happy and in safe, professional hands.”

Toni Rose continues: “At the clubs we provide a mix of activities and games to suit all the children in our care and are constantly offering them the chance to try out interesting things, such as taking part in a puppet workshop. The children are also given an opportunity to use the many facilities on offer at Serendipity Sam’s, such as the climbing equipment and ball pool.”

Bupa has extensive experience in childcare and has recently been awarded the contract to supply holiday clubs to the Treasury, the Cabinet, the Department for Education and Skills (DfES), the Department for International Development (DfID) and the Metropolitan Police, as well as 30 other government departments.

There are 50 places every day at both Bupa holiday clubs, with each place costing £25 for the full day. Bupa is encouraging parents to book early as the clubs are expected to fill quickly.

For further information or to book a place at one of Bupa’s holiday clubs please call: 0845 603 9438.
