Bupa operates over 300 care homes in the UK for the elderly as well as those suffering form dementia related illnesses, Parkinson's or Huntington's disease, and for young physically disabled people.

We are expanding our estate nationally and are pleased to recognise effective introductions for the acquisition of suitable sites and buildings.

Our use has the advantage of being employment generating as well as being considered a community use and in some cases, accepted in lieu of social housing. Care homes are still permitted in housing monitorium areas. Traffic generation is also low with only 15-20 car park spaces required.

	Target areas All sites will be considered on their merits. However, we do have a list of our key target areas. Current key target areas				Site criteria 1 to 1.5 acres residential / community and former employment uses near good residential areas freehold / long leasehold
