How to join Bupa Cash Company Plan

Company-paid or voluntary Cash Plan

Company-paid Bupa Cash Plan is when you pay for your employees' cover. This could be a valuable perk of the job, build loyalty, add value and attract new staff.

Voluntary Bupa Cash Plan is a self-funded alternative where employees pay for their own cover, either via a payroll scheme, credit card, direct debit or by cheque. This can cost you little to promote, yet it extends Bupa healthcare to your staff and their families when they join through your company.

Who is eligible to apply?

Anyone aged between 16 and 59 can apply to join Bupa Cash Plan, as long as they live in the UK. No medical is required.

Can employees cover family as well?

Yes. If they have cover at level 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 they can cover their partner and any number of their children up to the age of 21 (24 if in full-time education) who live with them at their address. Children can also be covered under the individual levels. Children are automatically covered free of charge in personal levels 1, 2 and 3.

Payment

Subscriptions are payable weekly/monthly in advance. You may also choose to pay quarterly or annually, if so, please contact us for details of the subscription rates.

Who handles the claims?

You don't need to do anything. Your employees should send their eligible claims direct to us, including receipted accounts and we'll send them a cheque. It's that simple. Because the cash is paid directly to each employee, they can spend it any way they want.

Cover is provided by Bupa Insurance Limited. The personal accident cover is provided by a third party insurer, details available on request. Membership is subject to acceptance by Bupa.
