Looking after your staff following traumatic incidents is both morally justified and, after work-related incidents, legally necessary. It also makes economic sense to avoid losing valuable staff to the effects of psychological trauma. Although there are numerous effective therapeutic options for treating those severely affected by unpleasant events, in many instances people are not referred for the appropriate help until a substantial time period has elapsed.
Bupa can provide telephone support 24 hours a day and send specially trained trauma risk management specialists on-site between 48 and 72 hours after an incident to assist in the management of the event and to conduct risk assessments.
We have a confidential telephone counselling helpline, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We have counsellors nationwide. We aim to provide a cousellor within 25 miles of their counselling session.

You will be charged the full fee if your employee fails to attend their appointment.
The service is completely confidential. Bupa counsellors are bound to confidentiality by a code of ethics. We will never give any information that may cause your employee to be identified.
