GP and nurse services

Instead of visiting their own GP, your employees will be able to see a doctor based on-site or nearby. This reduces the need to take time off and results in less disruption to the working day.

Doctors Hide

Employees can use the service for routine medical requirements or just occasionally for advice. Bupa doctors can provide:

appointments of 15 minutes or longer
prescriptions
repeat prescriptions
private consultant referrals
second opinions
vaccinations
travel advice
dietary advice
contraceptive advice

When necessary, employees can be referred to fast-track specialist treatment, from within or outside Bupa, which may result in faster recovery times and shorter rehabilitation.

It is important that employees maintain the continuity of care provided by their own GPs. Where necessary, and with their permission, we will write to their GP giving details of the consultation.

We select our practitioners with care, ensuring that they have high levels of clinical expertise, as well as the commercial acumen to develop an insight into your work and employees’ culture.

Nurses Hide

An on-site nurse, who is able to deliver services such as vaccinations and contraceptive advice can support the doctor. Your organisation then benefits from a more focused mode of delivery, freeing up the doctor’s time for more one-on-one consultations.
