Visit us at Argyles Nursing Home, Newbury
Our experienced care team provides short-stay, respite or longer care durations, and registered nurses offer 24-hour nursing care and convalescence. Our complete care package is rounded off with our carers, who are well-trained to look after those with palliative needs and to also support those with Parkinson's disease.
Argyles is a stunning Tudor-style home that was built in 1991, specifically as a care home. There's plenty of space to relax in the comfortable lounges, where our residents are free to catch up on their favourite TV shows or just catch up with friends in the home. We also have a quiet lounge too, which offers a more peaceful setting.

How do I arrange a visit?
We have an open door policy, so you are welcome to pop in to the home at any time. However, we recommend you avoid visiting at main meal times as these can be very busy. If you would like to speak to the home manager when you visit, you can make an appointment by calling us first.
Can I bring my own furniture?
Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.
How soon can I move in?
This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.Ask us a question
