Visit us at Cold Springs Park Residential Home in Penrith
Situated in a quiet, residential area, Cold Springs Park is still only a mile from Penrith town centre. Life at Cold Springs Park Residential Home
We recognise the importance of activities for providing physical and mental stimulation but also for helping to structure our residents’ days.
Our dedicated activity co-ordinator organises a varied programme to suit all interests ranging from cooking to painting to flower arranging. Depending on the weather, we hold activities outside, maybe with a trip to the Lake District or closer to home with gardening in the grounds or afternoon tea in the courtyard.
We have regular trips into town as well as to the countryside, perhaps to a concert, a market or on a ‘mystery tour’. Local entertainers frequently visit us, as does the mobile library.
We are always happy for friends and relatives to join us for activities both in and out of the home.

How do I arrange a visit?
We have an open door policy, so you are welcome to pop in to the home at any time. However, we recommend you avoid visiting at main meal times as these can be very busy. If you would like to speak to the home manager when you visit, you can make an appointment by calling us first.
Can I bring my own furniture?
Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.
How soon can I move in?
This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.Ask us a question
