Life at Eglantine Villa
We believe that regular and stimulating activities are the key for social interaction and general well-being, and that's why we have a packed schedule of fun things to do at Eglantine Villa.
At Eglantine Villa our residents have the freedom to spend their days how they wish. We want to make sure that they have plenty of options to choose from when it comes to ways to fill up their time. Whether that's taking part in a group activity (such as games or arts and crafts sessions) or pursuing a personal hobby or interest – if a resident doesn't have one when they come into the home then we're more than happy to suggest some for them.
We also organise regular days out which are hugely popular during the summer months as we try to get down to the seaside as much as possible as well as to garden centres and other attractions.

How do I arrange a visit?
We have an open door policy, so you are welcome to pop in to the home at any time. However, we recommend you avoid visiting at main meal times as these can be very busy. If you would like to speak to the home manager when you visit, you can make an appointment by calling us first.
Can I bring my own furniture?
Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.
How soon can I move in?
This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.Ask us a question
