Clevedon, one of the most popular towns on the Bristol Channel, is home to Elm View. Our modern, purpose-built home has 43 rooms, stunning gardens and a patio area that's perfect for whiling away those lazy summer days.
We strive to create a friendly environment at Elm View so that our residents quickly settle in and feel at home. As with all Bupa care homes, we reinforce the fact that our staff are trained to the highest levels and if specialist care is needed then there will always be a fully trained nurse on hand.
Round the clock care in a safe, comfortable environment for up to six weeks. Perfect for carers who are ill, on holiday or just need a break.
We provide respectful pro-active care for residents and relatives in their last days of life. We ensure that their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs are considered and met.
Care for those recovering from surgery or illness, through a combination of rest appropriate exercise and balanced diet.
We offer 24-hour personal support to those with a condition that requires frequent specialised, qualified nursing care.
We're always striving to improve our treatments and services so feedback from residents and relatives is very important to us. The results of this help us provide the best care possible.
We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This helps us to identify how we can deliver person-centred care for the people living in Bupa homes.
A considerable amount of thought and care has been put into ensuring that our residents have plenty of activities and events to enjoy.
Our in-house activity co-ordinator works hard to make sure that there is a varied and fun programme of activities at Elm View. We consult with each of the residents to draw up a range of events and ensure that there's something to appeal to everyone. This could be anything from the gardening club to gentle keep fit sessions.
When they feel like just sitting back and being entertained, our residents have the opportunity to enjoy one of the many visits from local entertainers and musicians. Among our regular days out from the home are trips to the seaside to enjoy an ice cream, picnics and visits to the local garden centre.
We discuss every resident's dietary requirements in detail shortly after they arrive at the home, and then our chef creates a menu designed to include each person's likes and needs. They only use fresh ingredients when preparing meals – including herbs from our home's own gardens.
We have an open door policy, so you are welcome to pop in to the home at any time. However, we recommend you avoid visiting at main meal times as these can be very busy. If you would like to speak to the home manager when you visit, you can make an appointment by calling us first.
Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.
This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.Ask us a question
