The first thing you notice about Norewood Lodge Nursing Home is the stunning views across the Bristol Channel and the hills of Wales beyond that. Just a short walk to the coast, the historic seaside town of Clevedon is just a few miles away.
Whatever your needs and wants, we have an option to suit you. Each of our residents have their own unique care plan, as well as a named carer and named nurse, so you can be sure that you'll be getting the very best care during your time at the home.
Outside of the home are the extensive gardens, which are one of the home's highlights.
We offer 24-hour personal support to those with a condition that requires frequent specialised, qualified nursing care.
Round the clock care in a safe, comfortable environment for up to six weeks. Perfect for carers who are ill, on holiday or just need a break.
Care for those recovering from surgery or illness, through a combination of rest appropriate exercise and balanced diet.
We provide respectful pro-active care for residents and relatives in their last days of life. We ensure that their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs are considered and met.
We're always striving to improve our treatments and services so feedback from residents and relatives is very important to us. The results of this help us provide the best care possible.
We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This helps us to identify how we can deliver person-centred care for the people living in Bupa homes.
We encourage our residents to pursue their own interests at the home and to also try something new. By having regular and varied activities every day, there's always something fun to try.
Aside from their obvious benefits, taking part in stimulating activities has also been known to help improve appetites and sleep patterns. That's why our activity co-ordinator does their very best to make sure that there's something interesting happening at the home every day of the week.
From quizzes and sing-alongs to pet therapy, there's also plenty of opportunity for our residents to continue any hobbies and interests they had before they came into the home.
Also proving hugely popular is our range of clubs and groups for things like reading, gardening, painting and cookery, as well as visits from local youth drama and musical groups.
All our meals are homemade every day and often use seasonal ingredients to ensure that you're getting the freshest and healthiest food available.
We always make a big fuss of our residents on their birthday, and they receive a meal of their choice and a birthday cake to help them enjoy their special day.
We have an open door policy, so you are welcome to pop in to the home at any time. However, we recommend you avoid visiting at main meal times as these can be very busy. If you would like to speak to the home manager when you visit, you can make an appointment by calling us first.
Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.
This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.Ask us a question
