Life at Seabrooke Manor

Ensuring there's something fun and engaging for our residents to do every day is a vital part of the care we provide.

Our activities

We have a dedicated activity co-ordinator who takes time to get to know each of our residents and find out about their hobbies and interests, as well as suggesting some appropriate group activities they might like to get involved with. These are a great way to meet new people, and help improve appetites and sleeping patterns.

Film shows in our cinema, music and movement sessions and food tasting events all prove very popular among our residents. There are regular visits by the mobile library for those who enjoy a book, as well as performances by local entertainers.

We also organise trips to the theatre, bowling club and seaside.

We have a team on hand who will be happy to answer any questions you have about our homes

How do I arrange a visit?

We have an open door policy, so you are welcome to pop in to the home at any time. However, we recommend you avoid visiting at main meal times as these can be very busy. If you would like to speak to the home manager when you visit, you can make an appointment by calling us first.

Can I bring my own furniture?

Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.

How soon can I move in?

This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.
