Harrogate is one of the best towns in Yorkshire, so where better to set up home than in The Crest Residential Home? Situated on the outskirts of the town in a quiet area near the countryside and an excellent golf club.
Like all Bupa care homes, the level of care available is of the highest standard. We provide residential dementia care, convalescence, palliative care and respite, and residents can sleep easy knowing that if they need assistance day or night then someone is always on hand to help them.
24-hour care and assistance provided for those living with dementia, with a lifestyle profile created to make them feel safe and comfortable.
Round the clock care in a safe, comfortable environment for up to six weeks. Perfect for carers who are ill, on holiday or just need a break.
Care for those recovering from surgery or illness, through a combination of rest appropriate exercise and balanced diet.
We provide respectful pro-active care for residents and relatives in their last days of life. We ensure that their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs are considered and met.
We're always striving to improve our treatments and services so feedback from residents and relatives is very important to us. The results of this help us provide the best care possible.
We are regulated by the Care Inspectorate. This helps us to identify how we can deliver person-centred care for the people living in Bupa homes.
Those looking to meet new people will find it easy at The Crest Residential Home, as it's easy to make friends, join in activities and find new things to do each day.
Whether you want to try something brand new or continue with an existing hobby, you'll find that you have everything at hand to fill your time with interesting events and activities.
We have our own activity co-ordinator at The Crest Residential Home, who works with each and every resident to find out what sorts of activities they're interested in – and will also make recommendations of some that they may not have considered before.
Whether it's a word game, a movement to music session or a crafts activity, there's often something interesting happening every day at the home. Those interested in gardening can even tend their own plot in the garden.
We want to make sure that every resident gets the food that they like – and also a varied menu that meets any dietary requirements they may have. To make sure that happens, our chef meets with our residents to plan a menu for them that they know they'll enjoy.
We have an open door policy, so you are welcome to pop in to the home at any time. However, we recommend you avoid visiting at main meal times as these can be very busy. If you would like to speak to the home manager when you visit, you can make an appointment by calling us first.
Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.
This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.Ask us a question
