Company secretary Hide

This division is responsible for the maintenance of the centralised records of Bupa's 350 subsidiaries, which are located in 28 countries around the world. It is also responsible for the provision of a comprehensive and professional in-house company secretarial service to all UK companies within the Bupa Group.

Corporate communications Hide

The team looks after all aspects of communication on behalf of Bupa's various businesses: from media relations to making sure that important developments are communicated across the group and Community Connections, who run volunteer schemes for staff. Our policy and public affairs team routinely monitors policy and political matters in order to influence events, and to find business opportunities arising from policy changes.

e-Commerce Hide

The e-commerce team identifies and evaluates e-commerce opportunities that are outside the normal activities of any business unit. In addition they specify, develop and manage e-commerce applications and businesses such as Selling2Bupa.com (a dedicated website for third parties interested in working with Bupa), Idealoutcome.com (a reverse e-auction application)..

Finance Hide

Group finance provides support to the finance teams across the Group in addition to its specialist activities. The team consists of financial reporting, management reporting, actuary, financial systems, tax, treasury and corporate finance.

Group medical Hide

The purpose of Group medical is to provide leadership and support to business units, to drive the clinical quality agenda and to promote Bupa's medical credentials to the outside world.

Human Resources Hide

The human resources department works in partnership with the management of the business to ensure the right people are available and able to perform effectively to deliver results to our customers. HR provides an internal consultancy service through its various components: operational HR, organisational development, reward, HR systems, employee recognition, and HR support.

Information systems Hide

Bupa Group Information systems is looking for a number of IT professionals in both technical and non-technical roles. Our teams support the whole business and are integral to providing leading edge technical solutions to meet business demands.

Legal Hide

Our legal teams provide support across the business from corporate to employment matters.

Marketing Hide

The marketing division is responsible for maintaining the corporate standards and making sure all of our business units are joined together under the global brand. Group marketing consists of advertising and marketing communications, brand development, market research and web strategy teams.

Property Hide

Group Property manages all construction, facilities management and refurbishment of Bupa property, and the arrangements for any leased buildings, as well as the operation of key services in the larger offices, such as switchboard, post and planned maintenance.

Purchasing Hide

Group Purchasing negotiates corporate purchasing contracts across the Group and across a wide spectrum of goods and services, from clinical consumables to office stationery and electricity to travel.

Strategy and development Hide

Group Strategy and development is at the heart of planning for and growing the Bupa businesses. It is responsible for crafting the overall group strategy and helping to bring this strategy to life by evaluating and taking forward new business initiatives in conjunction with the business units.
