Be in Bupa, for less
Now there's a more affordable way to enjoy the benefits of Bupa private medical insurance. It's called EmployeeChoice and it means more people than ever can afford Bupa private medical insurance.
The NHS provides a great service in the event of an emergency but it can't always guarantee fast access to treatment for everyone that needs it. In fact over 634,450* people in the UK are currently waiting for an operation. As a Bupa member, you can have peace of mind that you are covered for prompt access to eligible private medical treatment should you fall ill.
Low cost, not low on benefits
Bupa EmployeeChoice and Bupa EmployeeChoice Essential have been designed to give employees of participating companies, and their families, access to low cost private medical insurance.
Although the Bupa EmployeeChoice schemes are low on cost, they are not low on benefits. For instance, we know that heart disease and cancer are the conditions which people worry about the most, so unlike some other "low cost" plans, you will be pleased to know that cover is provided for eligible heart and cancer treatment in both EmployeeChoice schemes.
What's covered?
Bupa EmployeeChoice provides cover for all eligible diagnostic tests, hospital in-patient and day-patient treatment, as well as cover for out-patient consultations and therapies, including up to £250 towards complementary treatments.
Bupa EmployeeChoice Essential is the same as Bupa EmployeeChoice except out-patient consultations and therapies are only covered if they are immediately related to and following eligible private in-patient or day-patient treatment. Complementary medicine is also excluded.
