Bupa Home Healthcare provides an independent and comprehensive pharmacy service that encompasses dispensing, prescription management and aseptic manufacturing.
Our in-house aseptic production facilities include compounding units with multiple clean rooms, and purpose-built quality assurance laboratories. We have an MHRA Specials Manufacturing Licence for the aseptic preparation of injectable solutions, and an extensive stability database supported by research and development facilities.
We also provide pharmacy advice in response to patients' changing clinical needs and work closely with the hospital to develop drug/device combinations appropriate for home use.
We can provide an outsourced aseptic manufacturing service for hospitals, which creates greater capacity for the NHS by maximising resources and minimising costs.
Bupa Home Healthcare offers an independent dispensing service run by pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and dispensing assistants. We have five pharmacies across the UK that use state-of-the-art dispensing facilities, and handle more than 40,000 prescriptions items each month.
