Documents we'll need
At Bupa we have important legal and regulatory responsibilities that ensure our residents and employees are safe.
So, as part of your application, you’ll be asked to answer some questions and provide documents that will let us make sure we’re meeting our responsibilities.
This article lists the documents and other information you may need to give us.

If you can’t do this, call our resourcing team on 0800 028 0275 and they’ll talk to you about possible alternatives.
Because of the type of work we do in our care homes, our jobs and assignments are exempt from the provisions of Section 4.2 of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
Applicants can’t withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are ‘spent’ under the provisions of the act.
Failure to disclose any convictions could result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal. Any information given will be completely confidential and will be considered only in relation to the position that you’ve applied for.
All applicants (including UK and EEA citizens) who are offered a job with Bupa Care Homes in the UK will need to provide documents and/or identity cards that prove they can legally work in the UK.
Bupa may be able to sponsor a successful candidate in maintaining their visa, transferring their employment to Bupa and allowing them to continue to work in the UK.
However, you won’t be able to start a job until all visa formalities have been completed. Call us on 0800 028 0275 if you have any questions.
