Management jobs
At Bupa we have a number of management opportunities within our care homes including home managers, deputy/clinical managers and unit managers.
Wherever you’ve gained your management expertise, we can offer you the opportunity to think innovatively, drive the success of the home and manage a team that’s dedicated to providing the very best in care. And we’ll give you all the encouragement, support and training you need.
We own more than 300 care homes in the UK, and each one is different. This means that each manager’s role is different, from the purely managerial in our larger homes to combined managerial and hands-on nursing in our smaller homes. Our larger homes also have roles for deputy and clinical managers working with the home manager.
What a Bupa care home manager does
Generally, our managers run every aspect their care home, including:
Our managers are talented leaders who can focus on important details which can range from chatting to residents and reviewing menus to reviewing their care home's marketing plan. They make sure we really get to know our residents and their families, so we can promote choice, maximise independence and meet individual needs.
Why become a care home manager?
Our managers look after our homes, residents and our staff. And in return we look after them. We support them every step of the way from recruitment and marketing to hospitality, finance, clinical and more. Because we’re a non-profit organisation, our profits are re-invested in our homes, making them stable, positive, dynamic places to work.
Whatever role you take on, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits and some of the best training in the industry.
