Training and development
We take training and development seriously in our care homes - the success of our company is rooted in the dedication, skills and care of our people. We’re planning to increase this investment in our people even further over the next few years.
Career-specific training
We’ve been acknowledged for the wide range of training we provide. All of our training is inspected by Ofsted and we’re ‘Investors in People’ accredited to ensure our staff are qualified to the highest standards.
Whether you’re in a management, nursing, care or support role, we’ll invest in you.
You may be new to care or are an experienced carer – either way you’ll get the best training in the industry so that you can provide expert care and support to our residents. You can also take advantage of the many other training and development opportunities available, including the chance to study towards qualifications such as NVQs.
Continual improvement
By providing regular feedback, guidance on management best practice, and generous access to training and development opportunities, we’ll ensure you’re the best you can be at your chosen role.
Feedback is important to us, so every year we survey all of our people. And we make sure we continually improve by following-up on their feedback. Through our ‘One Life’ scheme, we also actively encourage people to generate new ideas and we reward those who help to enhance our business.
‘Personal Best’
This is an initiative adopted across the whole of Bupa Care Services and is about improving the experience of both our residents and their families and loved ones. The scheme helps Bupa care homes staff - already passionate about what they do - improve their performance by helping them to provide more personalised care and a truly individual service.
