A new £300,000 spring look for Bupa Preston care home

Residents of local Preston Bupa care home, Meadow Bank, are enjoying a fresh new look for spring as the £300,000 refurbishment of the centre is completed this week.

They can now enjoy watching their favourite TV programmes on a newly installed range of flat screen televisions. The centre, which is home to over 100 residents, has seen improvements and updates throughout from new carpets and curtains, furniture, flooring and bathroom suites.

Managers at Meadow Bank also took the opportunity to make more substantial renovations, removing some smaller to create larger communal areas as both sitting and activity rooms.

Helen Askins, home manager said “It’s lovely to have this work completed just as spring approaches. The staff and residents love the new fresh, brighter look. The residents are particularly thrilled to have not only more spacious living rooms to socialise in, but, by far and away the new flat screen televisions are the biggest hit.”

The Bupa Meadow Bank Nursing and Residential Home is located at Meadow Lane, Bamber Bridge, Preston.
