The New Year has brought a new look for four Bupa Care homes as refurbishment programmes worth a total of £1,330,000 have been completed.
Two Bupa Care Services’ homes in Surrey, Eastbury Manor and Lynton Hall, together with, Knowles Court in Bradford and Meadow Bank in Preston have just completed a programme of extensive renovations and refurbishments.
Along with the traditional works of fitting new carpets, curtains, furniture and flooring all the centres have received new flat-screen televisions, while an internet café style room has been created at the Knowles Court Residential and Nursing Home.
Comments Alistair How, director UK care homes: "We never forget that we provide a real home to thousands of people. We strive to create a warm and welcoming feel, look and style for our residents with all the creature comforts of home – which is why updating to flat-screen televisions and introducing internet access are as important to us as the quality of the fixtures and fittings."
