Originally a private residence, Hadley Lawns has been tastefully converted and recently extensively refurbished.
Hadley Lawns offers care for those requiring residential accommodation, nursing, convalescence or palliative care. We also offer short stay care including respite as well as specialist care for Parkinson’s disease.
Meals are an important part of the day at Hadley Lawns, and our chef creates a varied range of tasty, nutritious dishes, prepared daily using only the freshest produce. All our menus are nutritionally balanced and our chef has a flexible approach to his menus, ensuring the needs and dietary requirements of our residents are catered for.
Residents can choose to eat in our dining rooms or in their own rooms if they prefer.
Interesting activities to suit all tastes and abilities are arranged by our activity co-ordinator each day. These vary and may include arts and crafts, flower arranging, crosswords and local walks. Residents are encouraged to continue with any existing hobbies and interests, or to discover new ones.
Residents can help to tend to the plants in the raised flowerbeds, aromatic herb garden and greenhouse that feature in the homes’ grounds. A mobile library visits the home, as do local school children who like to come and read to residents.
There are weekly church services held for those who wish to take part.
