Private retirement and assisted living

If you want to be as independent and self-reliant as possible without the worry of maintaining your own home, then retirement housing may be perfect for you. Bupa offers two types of retirement housing, Goldsborough Estates retirement properties and Bupa Assisted Living properties.

Bupa retirement housing

Goldsborough Estates is part of Bupa and provides luxury apartments and bungalows, purpose-built for older people.

These properties offer privacy and security with the advantage of communal facilities and services, such as gardens, guest suites and laundries. All properties have 24-hour emergency call points, and most have resident managers.

Bupa Assisted Living housing

Bupa Assisted Living properties are also run by Goldsborough Estates, but are situated in the grounds of Bupa-owned care homes.

These purpose-built bungalows and flats have all the advantages of Goldsborough Estates retirement housing, but with tailored packages available providing care, catering and laundry. Assisted living housing is also ideal for couples with different care needs.
