Young physically disabled care
Some Bupa homes are registered to care for people aged 18 to 65 who have physical disabilities and are unable to look after themselves in their own homes. We have specialist facilities, equipment and highly skilled staff to care for a wide range of disabilities and needs.
While each Bupa care home has its own individual style and range of facilities, all our homes give you security, independence, and the very best expert care.
At a Bupa residential care home you’ll find:
We adapt our homes to meet the specific needs of residents to make mobility as easy as possible. We also make sure that YPD homes have facilities such as cyber cafes and pool tables, so that residents can continue to pursue their interests.
Caring for young physically disabled people means helping to create an atmosphere that encourages social interaction in a warm, homely and welcoming environment. We provide a level of care that means residents can keep as much independence as possible, by organising, for example trips to the pub or to the cinema. We make sure everyone receives regular physiotherapy, whether it is to help retain a range of movements or simply to make sure they are comfortable.
Fees vary depending on the type of care and accommodation and the duration of your stay.
Our prices include:
Please talk to us if you want treatments and services not in your care plan, such as hairdressing, physiotherapy, chiropody, or aromatherapy. Each home manager will give you the details, including any additional costs, of extra services available within their home and information about your terms of stay.
Each care home will be registered for different age groups, so do check with the home to make sure it is right for you.
