Bupa Patient Cash

Bupa Patient Cash provides financial help towards early diagnosis, offering cash refunds^ for a variety of healthcare needs, including NHS or private hospital stays and consultation fees.

This health cash plan has been designed to cover similar benefits to a traditional private medical insurance policy, but it works in a different way. When you have a private consultation, treatment or even a hospital stay, you could claim some of the cost back from us. Bupa Patient Cash also includes cash benefits for treatment like physiotherapy and osteopathy.

You can even claim for NHS hospital stays and use your cash back to pay for other expenses or put the money towards the costs of private treatment so that you can be diagnosed and treated faster. The cash is yours to spend as you choose. So taking out Bupa Patient Cash Plan can mean you're in a better position to make the right decisions about your health.

Here's how Bupa Patient Cash works

Private hospitals can be expensive but often give access to faster diagnosis and treatment. Bupa Patient Cash allows you to claim money back for the cost of treatment, up to the benefit limits of your chosen level.

John saved with Bupa Patient Cash.
Here's how he saved with his scheme:

John went to see a consultant about his bad knee and paid £200. Since he chose Patient Cash level 3, he can claim back a maximum of £600 for consultation fees that year. So once he has claimed back the full £200 for his knee, this will leave him with £400 to use for consultations during the rest of that benefit year.
