1 - Why do the videos take a long time to download?

The videos are high quality, so we recommend you use wifi access to download them.

2 - Why do I have to download the videos?

The videos come in many versions, where each one is optimised for your device. Bundling all the different versions with the app would have made it take up too much space.

3 - Why doesn't the tracker track what I do?

The tracker keeps track of every exercise you log as complete and every full workout, when you log as complete the 'cool down' section. Make sure you press LOG AS COMPLETE for your activity to be tracked.

4 - Why can't I access Twitter?

Make sure you have a wifi or internet connection working. You will also need a working Twitter account. You will need to log in to Twitter before you can post a message.

5 - Why can't I access Facebook?

Make sure you have a wifi or internet connection working. You will also need a working Facebook account. You will need to log in to Facebook before you can post a message.

6 - Why can't I view previous 'test yourself' results on the iPad?

Go to 'tracker' and press on the open book symbol to view previous 'test yourself' results, and dates they were completed.

7 - What do I do if I pressed the wrong answer on a test result?

On the iPhone, you can press the back button at the top of the screen and change your answer; or, when you get to the results summary screen, press cancel and start the test again. On the iPad, you need to press 'test yourself' in the bottom navigation and take the test again.

8 - How do I switch the sound off?

Go to the 'More' section of the app and press the 'Sound on' button to turn the sound off.

9 - Why are the prices of the health assessments different on the app than on the website?

That's because the price offers for our app users are the lowest available and cheaper than those available online. To take advantage of the offer, call 0845 600 3458 and quote FITAPP when you book your assessment.

10 - I have an Android phone, can I use this app?

Not yet, we will be releasing the app on Android later in the year.

11 - Is the app available to anyone or just Bupa customers?

The app is available to anyone and it's free.

12 - How do I reset the programme?

If you wish to start from scratch, you can reset the programme and erase all data about your achievements. Doing this will erase your test results, as well as any exercises and workouts you have logged as complete. To do this, go to 'More' in the bottom navigation and select 'reset programme'. A pop up will appear asking you to confirm that you want to erase all of the information about your achievements. Press 'Reset'. The app will then close and you can start again.

13 - Is Bupa planning an app for its members?

Yes we are; the app will be released later in the year.

14 - How can I turn off the analytical tool mentioned in the disclaimer?

The disclaimer on the iPhone version mentions the use of an analytical tool; this is not in place at the moment. No personal data will be sent to Bupa using this app. When the analytical tool is switched on in a later release, it will still be the case that no personal data will be sent to Bupa, and you will be able to switch off the tool if you wish to.
