New free brain health app for iPhone
Now available to people in the UK, BrainyApp helps users monitor and improve the physical, mental, dietary and social aspects of their lifestyle.
The latest digital tool to help in the fight against dementia, this free iPhone app is based on the latest research that links brain health and a reduced risk of dementia, to a healthy heart and cardiovascular system.
Designed to help people monitor and improve their Brain-Heart health, the new app (which was created by Alzheimer’s Australia and Bupa Health Foundation) is the first of its kind to help you rate and track your brain health.
BrainyApp will help you understand how to live a brain-healthy lifestyle and provide you with the tools to check your own brain health.
To get the most out of BrainyApp, you can work through the Brain Health Survey, to find out your brain health score. Once you have your score you will be able to email yourself your results and begin to keep track of any improvements.
You can then regularly add to your score by completing the suggested activities in BrainyApp. If you’re not doing enough activities, you’ll see your brain-heart health score decrease.
You can also earn extra Brain Health Points by sharing your score and BrainyApp Facts on Facebook.
