Senior musculoskeletal physiotherapists. These are physiotherapists who have specialised training and experience with treating sports injuries.
It usually lasts for about an hour.
Bring comfortable running clothes and the shoes you normally run in.
The Physiotherapist will discuss your running goals, medical history and any previous injuries. Following this he or she will perform a series of clinical and functional tests to look at your flexibility, strength, biomechanics and running technique. The physiotherapist will then analyse your running style on a treadmill.
You will leave the Run Check with an understanding of your running style, a conditioning programme to help maximise your running performance, and a recommendation on the type of trainers to suit your biomechanics.
