How it works

You don’t need a company of fitness fanatics to benefit from Bupa Positive Health. It is available to all insured employees 1, even those who aren’t so health-conscious.

All members of your company scheme can use it online (whether you are an existing client or new to Bupa) to assess their health, get instant results and pick up general wellbeing tips at their leisure.

"It’s a great incentive for me to boost my health and wellbeing with easy to follow steps"

How it works – in four simple steps

  1. A user registers on the Bupa Positive Health website, creating their personal profile with a secure username and password, this information will be made available when your Positive Health scheme goes live.
  2. This provides access to a general health and wellbeing assessment, as well as assessments on nutrition, fitness, sleep and stress. Additional health measurement tools include body mass index checks
  3. Individual responses lead to personal reports detailing positive areas and those to focus on improving – through step–by–step guides and access to a wealth of supporting information
  4. Employees can re–take the assessments to re–assess their personal health status over time

Interactive assessments

Employees will be able to take a range of confidential, interactive assessments which focus on the key areas of health and wellbeing:

These secure, confidential assessments can be taken at each user’s leisure. There is always the option to go back to any assessment or re–take them at any time. Bupa Positive Health is available online 24 hours a day – and is something employees can explore at home, at work or in lunch hours. All they need is internet and email access.

Results

Every user’s results will differ, based on their individual profile and responses. The results offer practical guidance, personal information and advice from health professionals. All of these factors empower employees to take small steps towards positive improvements.

Assessments can be re–taken and employees can monitor their results over time.

Bupa Positive Health is secure and password protected. All employees need to get going is internet and email access at home or at work. Employee personal details remain confidential, whether they participate at home or at work.
