Terms and conditions - Bupa Great North Run prize draw

1. This prize draw opens on 26 March 2012 to residents of the United Kingdom, excluding Bupa employees and their families and the employees of any entity professionally associated with this prize draw. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over. No purchase necessary.
2. It is a condition of entry that these terms and conditions are accepted as final and that the entrant agrees to abide by these rules. All published details of how to enter form part of these terms and conditions.
3. To enter, entrants will need to submit an email to competition@bupahealthnews.co.uk by the closing date. Only one entry per person is permitted. No responsibility can be accepted for illegible or lost entries and proof of despatch will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
4. All entries must be received by midnight (BST) on 7 May 2012.
5. There will be five winners. Each winner will receive a free race place on the Bupa Great North Run. The prizes must be used on the relevant race date.
6. Five winners will be drawn at random from all valid entries received by the closing date that have successfully satisfied these terms and conditions. Bupa's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Winners will be notified via telephone and/or email within five days of the closing date and will be told how to confirm their booking for the free Bupa Great North Run place. If a winner hasn’t responded within five days of having been notified they will forfeit their right to the prize and Bupa reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
8. There is no cash alternative and prizes are non-transferable.
9. This offer only applies entry to the Bupa Great North run taking place on 16 September 2012, no further costs will be covered. e.g. travel and overnight stay costs.
10. The winners’ names and counties can be obtained by sending a letter and SAE to Bupa, Free Great North Run prize draw winner, Marketing, Victoria Harbour City, Salford Quays, M50 3SP within 60 days of the closing date.
11. The Bupa group will use any personal data submitted in relation to this prize draw in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. It will only use your personal data for the purposes of the administration of this prize draw and - if you provided your consent during the entry process - to send you information about the Bupa group and its products and services.
12. This prize draw is governed by English law.
