Peace of mind
Even if your employees feel fine right now, they may still have niggling worries about their health in the long term - especially if there is a history of illness in the family. So it can be very reassuring to have a thorough health check - to help make sure they're as well as they can be. And to keep them that way, we can identify the health risks that might affect them in the future, so that they can do something about it right now.
Early detection could save your life
With a wide range of tests, a BUPA health assessment can provide an in-depth analysis of health, fitness and general wellbeing. We aim to detect subtle changes, so if there is an underlying problem, we can pick it up very early, often before there are any symptoms.
For one in three people who come to us, we discover health issues they didn't know about. At an early stage, even serious conditions such as heart disease and cancer can be successfully treated and related problems are less likely to develop later on.
Fast results, unhurried service
We will have most of the test results available immediately and a BUPA doctor will discuss these during a one-to-one consultation (up to 30 minutes for the Key Health Assessment, 45 minutes for the Classic and 60 minutes for the Premier or Later Life). This will give your employees the time to ask questions and discuss any specific health concerns they may have, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
They will receive a personalised health report, giving a detailed picture of their current state of health, together with our recommendations for the future - all in clear, straightforward language. If we find that their lifestyle could lead to problems, we'll give them practical advice to help them minimise the risks - so they can look forward to a healthy life.
