Employee health assessments improve business performance
Our customer satisfaction survey in the first quarter of 2004 has helped to quantify the value that employers derive from providing health assessments.
These were the views of our employer-paid customers a month after their health assessment:
- 49 percent agreed that they are likely to stay working there longer as a result
- 57 percent agreed that it contributes to their performance at work
- 85 percent agreed that it shows their employer cares about their health
- 98 percent agreed that it is a valuable benefit
What our customers say about us
A recent survey showed that the vast majority of BUPA customers found a health assessment a very positive experience:
- 97 percent of our customers rate our health assessments as good or excellent
- 85 percent said they would have another health assessment
- 85 percent said that BUPA Wellness cared about them as an individual
- 70 percent say their assessment prompted them to make positive changes to their lifestyle
- 94 percent feel more reassured following their health assessment
- 33 percent of customers said that the assessment identified health issues of which they were unaware
