Critical incident response
At any time, the psychological wellbeing of any employee could be undermined by a crisis:
- employees can fall seriously ill whilst at work
- a team member could have or witness a car/train/plane accident
- a fire or explosion could happen at work involving your staff or customers
- an employee may be found to have a drug or alcohol problem
- your staff may be subject to the threat of armed raids or terrorism
It is important to prepare for the unexpected, so that you can minimise the effects of any disaster or critical incident, whilst at the same time being able to provide the necessary humanitarian support.
Organisations have a duty of care to employees through the Health and Safety at Work Act, but many managers feel they should, anyway, do as much as they can to support staff through a crisis.
We can help you put in place a crisis policy, procedure and action plan, as well as provide crisis training for your staff. We'll be ready and able to respond to help you deal with any incident.
If anyone at work faces a life crisis we can help with personal problems such as bereavement, relationship issues, substance abuse or debt.
