What are your health risks?
Peace of mind
Even if you feel fine right now, you may still have niggling worries about your health in the long term. Especially if there is a history of illness in your family. So it can be very reassuring to have a thorough health check - to help make sure you're as well as you can be.
And to keep you that way, we can identify the health risks that might affect you in the future, so that you can do something about it right now.
Early detection could save your life
With a wide range of tests, a BUPA health assessment can provide an in-depth analysis of your health, fitness and general wellbeing. We aim to detect subtle changes, so if you do have an underlying problem, we can pick it up very early, often before you have any symptoms.
For one in three people who come to us, we discover health issues they didn't know about. At an early stage, even serious conditions such as heart disease and cancer can be successfully treated and related problems are less likely to develop later on.
Fast results, unhurried service
We will have most of your test results available immediately and a BUPA doctor will discuss
these with you during your one-to-one consultation (up to 30 minutes for the Key Health Assessment, 45 minutes for the Classic and 60 minutes for the Premier or Later Life). This will give you the time to ask questions and discuss any specific health concerns you may have, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
You will receive a personalised health report, giving a detailed picture of your current state of health, together with our recommendations for the future - all in clear, straightforward language.
If we find that your lifestyle could lead to problems, we'll give you practical advice to help you minimise the risks - so you can look forward to a healthy life.
