The right treatment for you

If you know the sort of treatment you require and you wish to pay for your treatment yourself, you can book directly with a physiotherapist, osteopath, podiatrist or sports and orthopaedic doctor. If you are unsure of the best course of treatment, or if you have any questions, our knowledgeable staff can talk through your problems and help recommend the best course of treatment. For more complex problems this may require an assessment with a specialist doctor.

If you have private medical insurance you will need to ask your GP for a referral to our service. We are recognised by all major private medical insurers.

A team approach

Our physiotherapists use a carefully planned mixture of physical exercise and manual therapy with a hands-on approach that aims to optimise recovery.

Our osteopaths treat the body as a whole using a variety of manual techniques applied to the muscular and skeletal system. By treating both the injured tissues as well as other areas of poor function, they are able to improve the body's mechanics and its ability to heal.

Our sports and orthopaedic physicians specialise in the assessment, diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of muscle, tendon, bone and joint problems within our multidisciplinary environment. If you do require surgery they will arrange for you to see the most appropriate orthopaedic surgeon for the problem without delay.

Our podiatrists assess your posture and analyse your walking and running style using treadmill video analysis, and motion analysis software. Gait and motion analysis may be key to addressing the cause of the problem.

Other services

  • Psychology - many chronic pain conditions such as lower back pain, whiplash and work-related disorders are associated with psychological issues that need to be addressed in order to make a complete recovery
  • Rheumatology - specialising in inflammatory joint disease such as rheumatoid and osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis
  • Isokinetic testing - measures muscle strength, power and endurance and may be used in injury prevention, injury diagnosis and rehabilitation
  • Radiography - high quality X-ray facilities are available at many of our facilities
  • Diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral injections - a dynamic, safe and cost effective way of looking at soft tissue injuries such as tennis elbow and Achilles, knee and shoulder tendenopathy. Ultrasound may be used to guide your physicians in carrying out peripheral injections
