Muscles and Joints

Improve function and reduce pain

In 2007/8, muscular, bone and joint disorders were responsible for the loss of 8.8 million working days in the UK1. Back pain was the second most highly ranked reason for absence in a survey by the CBI in 20072.

The same survey highlighted that companies who offer rehabilitation programmes and flexible working can help employees back to work and lose less time to absence.

If you have an employee who is suffering from back, joint or muscle pain, Bupa provides effective treatment which can help to reduce or prevent time off work, and help them get better.

Fit For Work Clinic

To make the most effective use of the treatments we have available, we recommend they come to our Fit for Work Clinic where our multi-disciplinary team can properly diagnose the issue and define the best treatment plan. This helps to ensure they get the most appropriate treatment straight away.
