Living with a diagnosis of dementia can be a worry, but seeking help early offers the best chance of finding the right help and support. Find out more about dementia at our free awareness event, being held in aid of Age UK. The fabulous jazz, swing and soul singer, Jen Merchant, will be taking centre stage from 2.30pm. Jen has performed at venues that include the Royal Albert Hall and Guildford Cathedral, and will be entertaining us with classics from the 1940s and 50s. Join over one million people who have already become a Dementia Friend by taking part in our dementia information session at 3.30pm. Our Dementia Champion, Joe Gould, will explain more about the condition and will offer practical advice to help you support people living with dementia in your community. There will be quizzes and games to raise money for charity. You’ll also be able to sample our delicious range of cakes, which are freshly prepared by our chef.
