A person-centred approach to care in a spacious modern home
We think it’s important to know our residents well so we can deliver truly personalised care. By spending time listening to residents and their families, we learn about their lives, interests, and the really important things, like how they like their tea.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Residents can relax in one of our lounges or spend some quiet time in our safe, enclosed garden. The choice is always theirs.
Pretty enclosed garden
Our pretty garden has mature trees and shrubs and there is plenty of seating in the patio areas.
Specially designed for dementia and to aid independence
The building is designed to meet the care needs of all residents. Corridors are well lit to aid visibility, the bedrooms are spacious, and provide space for staff to support residents.
Treat yourself to a little pampering
Our on site salon has a wide selection of beautician options available to residents.
There’s no typical day at Ardenlea Grove, we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Enjoyable activities for everyone
The activities coordinator plans activities to suit everyone’s interests and capabilities. There are regular quizzes and games, a reading group and gentle exercise classes.
Special events and themed days
We have special events that take place in the home on a regular basis, as well as themed days like St Patrick’s day. The home is decorated to match the theme.
Visits from local school children
We get visits from local school children who come into the home to sing, dance and talk to residents at special times such as Harvest and Christmas.
My family were all so impressed with the level of care and dedication that every member of staff provided for our mother throughout her nine months at Ardenlea. I have never had any previous experience with any care homes but can honestly say the care, commitment and much-needed humour were exactly what my mother needed.

We have visited every day and found the staff to be friendly, kind, caring and compassionate. They are a wonderful team supporting the residents and each other, they have managed any problems my father has encountered with empathy finding solutions to suit his needs, they haven't adopted a one size fits all approach at all. The care home is always clean and tidy . We are so pleased with the care our father has received and are grateful for the support they are providing at such a difficult time.
