Visit us today at Hatfield Peverel Lodge Care Home in Chelmsford

Set within nine acres of stunning landscaped gardens, Hatfield Peverel Lodge in Chelmsford is an extended former private house that has been converted to ensure that our residents get the finest care in an elegant, yet also tastefully modern environment.

The care home is separated into two houses, and each one is designed to offer a different level of care. The first, Kingfisher House, provides care for our frail elderly residents, while Mallard House, is set up to deliver first-rate dementia care. The entire home has been completely refurbished recently, including a full redecoration and brand-new furnishings.

How do I arrange a visit?

We have an open door policy, so you are welcome to pop in to the home at any time. However, we recommend you avoid visiting at main meal times as these can be very busy. Can I bring my own furniture?

Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.

How soon can I move in?

This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.
