Welcome to Maes-Y-Wennol Care Home in Powys

Our charming home is situated in the heart of the spectacular Welsh countryside close to the picturesque town of Llanidloes. You'll find us surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens, including a furnished patio area and sensory garden with breathtaking views.

We have created a warm, friendly environment with all the facilities and standards of care and hygiene you would associate with Bupa.

It's vital that our residents feel completely at home with us, so we keep rules and regulations for them to a minimum. We help them lead as active and independent life as possible, and tailor the support we offer to each individual.

We are regulated by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW)

Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.

This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.
