Care in a calm and social setting
We offer our residents a vast range of activities to choose from and encourage them to get involved whenever possible. If they want some peace and quiet though, there are plenty of spaces they can relax in.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Be it helping, admiring the garden or simply unwinding in our conservatory, there is no shortage of space for residents to relax and socialise with a cup of tea or good book.
Pick your favourite books from our selection
The library has an excellent choice of novels and there are many spaces that residents can use to read.
Grow your own vegetables in our onsite plot
Whatever the residents wish to grow, we will accommodate them in our vegetable plot. We often include our home grown produce in meals cooked for residents.
Enjoy your hobbies or start new ones in our activity room
Our activity room has the space to help maintain residents hobbies both old and new with regular support.
There’s no typical day at Oakcroft House, but we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Have a red-carpet event for your favourite movies
We hold regular movie screenings of films that residents choose, and we try and accommodate whatever film is suggested.
See the sites of central London
As we’re so close to the capital, residents can always go and watch plays at theatres and visit the big attractions.
Share stories with the younger generations
We get regular visits from schools where the students spend time socialising with the residents.
