Welcome to The Grove in Ystradgynlais, Powys
Discover our beautifully converted home, which originally belonged to a local iron master, in the picturesque town of Ystradgynlais. It has every modern convenience and facilities designed to provide a high standard of residential, respite and convalescence care.
Our team of expert care assistants and registered nurses are on hand around the clock to offer support where it's needed – though our aim is to allow residents to have as much independence as possible. We like residents to enjoy The Grove in their own way, and make sure there's always something entertaining and fun to do.
We are regulated by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW)

Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.
This depends on availability of rooms in the home, understanding the cost of care and the person moving in receiving a care assessment.
