Our COVID-19 safety charter
Your next experience with the practice may be a little different. But these new measures are designed with your health and wellbeing in mind.

Pre-appointment
We’ll send you forms to complete before your appointment, and contact you 24 hours beforehand to ask some health-related questions.

Arrival etiquette
To limit the number of people in the practice, please ensure you don’t turn up too early or be late. Please come alone, unless necessary, and only bring essential belongings.

Social distancing
We’ve adjusted our waiting areas and spaced out appointments – so you can maintain safe social distancing.

Protective screens
You’ll notice that we’ve installed plastic screens at the front of our reception desks. This will keep you and our staff safe when you check-in or rebook another appointment.

Maintain essential hygiene
You must clean your hands as you enter the practice using the antibacterial gel provided.

PPE
You’ll be given a mask to wear on arrival. And our staff will wear appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure their safety - as well as yours.

More frequent, deeper cleans
We’re performing deeper, thorough and more frequent cleans – especially in our surgeries. These are scheduled throughout the day to fit around appointments.
Keeping you safe when you visit us
We completely understand you may be more nervous about visiting the dentist than normal.
The truth is, your visit will be different. There will be more safety measures in place and consequently, our practices may feel more ‘clinical’. Our dentists, hygienists and nurses will be wearing more safety clothing and face wear, and our reception teams will be behind screens and wearing masks too.
We’ll ask you to use hand sanitiser and wear a face mask while in practice (these will be provided), but it’s only for everyone’s protection. We’re still the same friendly people and we will continue to look after you and put your care first. Watch our short video for reassurance on what to expect.
This was a simulated patient treatment. No actual treatment took place and the process complied with guidelines in place at the time of filming
Our COVID-19 safety tariff
Our clinicians have always worn personal protective equipment (PPE) to treat you, but since the COVID-19 outbreak, the demand for PPE has increased costs dramatically. In addition, the Government has advised that enhanced PPE must be worn.
Unfortunately, we’ve had to introduce a safety tariff that will be applied to each private appointment, adjusted to the level of PPE required for your treatment.
We have introduced a separate tariff (as opposed to rolling out a blanket price rise across all treatments), so you can clearly see how much the enhanced PPE costs.
This is a temporary measure. We are committed to keeping costs to a minimum and hope to reduce this further as the cost for PPE reduces, or the need for enhanced safety measures decreases or are no longer needed.
We'd like to advise patients that many images and videos used throughout our website were taken and produced before the COVID-19 outbreak. Therefore social distancing rules and extra levels of PPE are not displayed.
