Apart from a year spent teaching in New Zealand, she has been practising at the same surgery on the south coast for the last 20 years. She enjoys building relationships with her patients to achieve their goals cosmetically and functionally.

Having developed a special interest in orthodontics over the last eight years, Kelly can offer many different forms of tooth alignment for adults and children alike. She also uses her knowledge to train and mentor other dentists in fixed and aligner treatments.

In 2012, Theo pursued two years of advanced training in implantology at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. On graduation, he was awarded the prestigious advanced diploma in implant dentistry, considered to be the ‘gold standard’ qualification in implant dentistry. This higher-level qualification covers bone grafting and sinus lifts, as well as placing and restoring dental implants.

Theo is extremely committed to his profession and has undertaken many years of postgraduate education. He keeps up-to-date with the latest techniques and products to help ensure his patients receive a high standard of clinical and personal care.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.

Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.

Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
